A Quick Question...
If you go to a class reunion and nobody recognizes you... Is that a bad thing?

Today's mystery lyric: (Remember the rules folks, no online searching of the lyrics, if you don't know it, you don't have the answer!)
No reason to get excited
The thief he kindly spoke
There are many here among us
Who feel that life is but a joke but uh
But you and I weve been through that
And this is not our fate
So let us not talk falsely now
The hour's getting late
Hey
Answer to last lyric: San Angelo by Marty Robbins. No cigars...

I guess that would depend on what you looked like then compared to now. Which is why I havent bothered to go to my reunions.
my reunion was this weekend, again, i didn't get invited.
Was it the beard?
BC - I look... erm... the same.
JennyLu - I too wasn't invited. I went anyway.
fermi - Theories abound... I'll give the full saga next time.
Hmmmm... That is odd. And the fact that you live in the same place. Id remember you though. :D
It's a wonderful thing! 'Cause then you can make up all sorts of stuff and freak people out...
"I'm surprised you don't remember me, seeing as how I followed you home and slept outside your bedroom window every night junior and senior year...those were the good ol' days, huh? These days high school girls are all uptight and call the police. What's that about?"
Marry me now.
I've never gone to a high school reunion. Maybe it's because I went to 4 different High Schools in four different states and I can't actually remember where I graduated.
Did I graduate? Oh yea, I did. I remember the robe. Black robe, tassle, diploma and handshake. I got a Regents diploma at that. (It's a thing in New York that indicates your a scholar). Funny because...I'm a dumb ass.
danigirl - yeah... but the chili peppers? It's like I don't know you anymore! :P
Charm - Dumb ass? Well... you do read this blog so that doesn't bode well for you, does it...
I've been invited to mine, but there's nobody I care to see there anyway. The last time my school had a reunion, they charged $50 admission. Bastards. Only thirty people showed. There were 700 in my senior class.
(I know, there probably weren't 700 kids in your whole district...)
"All Along The Watchtower", written and originally performed by Bob Dylan. Jimi Hendrix's version is the greatest cover of all time, IMNSHO. Almost a week, and nobody took a crack at it?
It's the beard.
You're beard, BTW. Just shut up.
ahhh here we go, another long sabbatical.
I think that could be a positive thing, but of course you didn't provide pictures or details.
Thank you for stopping by my blog and leaving comments.
Doc - District? Oh yeah... far more than 700 in the district... school? Oh no... only 186 in 7-12. As far as being there... well...
P - She types! She impunes me! She uses bad grammar! Yep... P's still alive and kicking. :P
Jen - I'm bizzy!
Senorita - Details? Pictures? My dear, where would the fun be in that? Thanks for stopping by and welcome to the End of the World.
oh i went to alll of mine....at the 10 year one, i remember some tall guy looking down the cleavage of the dress i was wearing as I passed by, and remarking to whoever he was talking to, man, the girls in our class grew up NICE....LOLOLOL
SSP - To what do I owe this honor? Surely Hawaii isn't that boring... is it? ;)
Oh btw... welcome to the End of the World...
