That's WAC!

Well, well, well...

Looks like the blue fungus known as Boise State once again beat the establishment. But it was a good game, and to their credit... Virginia Tech was never out of it. It was the kind of game that reinforces the reasons why college football fans tend to drink...

Now it will be fun to watch VT as they put a whoopin' on fermi's ramblin' wreck. Since she was rooting for them against BSU, it's only fair that I return the favor, no? :ewink:

Today's mystery lyric: (Remember the rules folks, no online searching of the lyrics, if you don't know it, you don't have the answer!)

Every morning
when I wake up yawning
I'm still far away

Truck still rolling
through the early morning
to the place we play

Answer to last lyric: Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress by The Hollies. Way to go Dan!

Are you provoking me? I was only tepidly rooting for the Chokies, I mean, Hokies. Conference loyalty and all. But I do think playing them on a Thursday night in Blacksburg will be our toughest game. Wouldn't surprise me at all if we do not come out ahead. Especially after we upset them at Bobby Dodd last fall. At least the field will be green like God intended. :-)

Me? Provoke someone? :innocent:

Although I must agree... the invention of turf was a blight on society, no matter the color.

And then JMU beat Tech. What is this world coming to?

I was hoping ECU would make it 0-3, but things got back to normal this weekend. ACC losing out of conference games, Boise State beating up on a high school team...

Hey! You take what you can get...

We all kinda knew that Wyoming wouldn't fare well. 3 of their starters got in a car wreck a couple weeks ago and it killed 2 and seriously injured the other. REALLY hard to rebound from that.

Besides... Duke and Ohio were already spoken for.
