So Tell Me...
Is 36 degrees too cold for the middle of August? I'm gonna argue that it is...

Today's mystery lyric: (Remember the rules folks, no online searching of the lyrics, if you don't know it, you don't have the answer!)
Well I'm frustrated
Outdated
I really want to be over-rated
I'm a finder
And I'm a keeper
I'm not a loser and I ain't no weeper

36 degrees is not too cold for mid-August. You can still lick a metal pipe and not have your tongue freeze to it. What more could you want? You can always come to ME where the humidity gauge says "Screw the hair, just put a hat on" and it's been in the upper 80's/low 90's. Yeah, I know, that's not hot to most, but here in ME if it goes above 82 we're all locked in the house in front of the AC.
Yet another reason against ME love... ;)
August around here is usually when you hear the phrase... My gad, can it get any hotter? Or the always popular, what are we? A mile from the sun?
Fahrenheit or Celsius? I did just get back from Canada, ya know... 36C is pretty balmy.
Hell, I didn't tell ya to live in Idaho...
"Metal Health", Quiet Riot. Bang your head.
fermi - If 36 is balmy... How do I turn it from F to C then?
Doc - yeah... but it keeps the roaches at bay. In fact... don't think I've ever even seen a roach.
I could send you some of our heat. We have an over abundant supply here, especially in August. I'll even throw in some free humidity...
Send it on up... my wee little garden would appreciate both.
36? Sure you ain't got them there numbers backwards??
It was 87F last night at midnight!!
Tiff - Something's backwards around here...
BC - Hey... you folks were the one's complaining about all the rain.
Yes I was complaining about all the rain. I dont mind the 87F during the day. Its the humidity that I cant stand. You cant breathe in it. I prefer the dry heat. The rain was sucking because you couldnt mow the sponge that was the back yard. And I was tired of feeding all the skeeters that were breeding.
mental health by quiet riot
from someone on my catblogging the tree full of cats said "Omigod, that is the cutest picture ever!!! Does LL come here? If not, I might steal for my blog...and I think Fermi should, too!!!" I won't mention names tho, you will have to go there to see who it is.. snicker snicker.
Mental health? Hmmm... let's see... Bang your head, mental health will drive you mad. Ummm... well, it certainly gives new meaning to the song.
I certainly won't argue for 36F in August. Hell no. I will argue that this past weekend's barely 70F weather sucked canal water. It might have been nice if we had just suffered through 3 months of high 90s with high humidity, but since we've had about one week of summer so far this year, I'm going to bitch about it.
Well LL, there have been some days I'd have welcomed 36 degrees! Those 100 to 108 degree days and 80 nites we were getting was quite "boring"!!! To say the least! Tempers are short and even critters get grumpy! We have been dropping into the mid 40's this past week at nite now!
