OK, that was sad and all, but how the hell did how did Kiwi hold up the nails to hit them in partway? My brain'll be stuck on that and not the death.

Didn't you see him pull the hammer and nails out of his ass in the first place? That was the start of the genius, and then the overall plot and ending makes it work...

I think there were too many issues I had - like what the bloody hell was he nailing - to get emotionally involved in his existence. I finally heard the thud at the end, but generally, I didn't get it.
Yes, I got that it's a kiwi bird and kiwis can't fly, etc., but it didn't work for me. Try harder.
But he's all right, isn't he? He's okay, right? Lord Loser, tell me he's okay!
Yes Mr. S... he's in a better place now that he's finally flown.
